VEGTAN leather refers to the method used to tan leather. This particular method uses natural elements such as tree bark, leaves and roots, instead of harsh chemicals to make leather…pretty cool, eh? Vegtan leather is one of the oldest methods of tanning leather in history. Less than 10% of leathers are tanned this way today, which makes it quite unique and special.
*Also…it can be recycled and is biodegradable….woah! AWESOME! right!?
